journaling cards, is that instead of using up all the 6×4 cards when matting, I
can cut up some of the 12×12 papers instead. I also love that bits and bobs are available with the paper range like stickers or ephemera, I am quite a matchy-matchy kinda girl….
I love love love Today paper so decided that was going to be my title card. I cut up the Journaling Card and Love this paper to use as well as some of the other papers, matted my pics, did a bunch of journaling, added some embellishments and it was all done.
The photos are not the greatest, and certainly I wouldn’t scrap a 12×12 page
with these photos and that is what I love about pocket pages. It’s a great
way to show the more ordinary aspects of life and I have ‘scrapped’ a bunch more photos than I would have done in the year to date, than I would have if I was doing traditional scrapping. If you haven’t tried this style, I can definitely recommend it and I would suggest starting with some gorgeous papers in a range rather than buying a bunch of journaling cards….that way you can still do some 12×12 pages too!
