I was planning to enter this into Scrappin' Patch June challenge but seriously ran out of time. This is the sketch, I really liked the strips and have a brainwave for what photo I would use.
I chose a photo of Liam making a 'house tower' which he was into at the time (still is) which is basically just a tower but it started off as a house hence the name! I loved how he 'needed' his stool to carry on making the tower taller as he wanted it taller than him and taller than me.
I used the paper that I had won from Scrappin Patch which was actually a bit of a funny coincidence as I was struggling to find something I liked but pulled out the background piece that I had brought a while ago and thought huh that looks familiar and was pleased to see it was! I had thought the paper was too flowery but I think it looks pretty good!
I'm Natalia, co-owner of Bali Suga Crafts, mother of two kids and wife of another! I started scrapbooking when I lived in Australia in the back of beyond and made the mistake of going into the local post office....aka the shop I spent the most money in (not that there was a lot to choose from). There I discovered scrapbooking supplies as well as a weekly class on a Tuesday night and haven't looked back since then!
