When I started creating this page, I wanted to use lots of the cork because I'm rather a fan of it! I wanted it to look a little like a pinboard, so decided to be random with my placements but I should have done it with more crumpling and layering...oh well! I confess I took two of the photos off and stuck back on crooked after finishing....I had said recently how I never do crooked photos so it is something different for me even in hindsight!
Whenever I have Simple Stories papers, I start by cutting apart the cutaparts rather than keeping intact. Of course for this pocket page, I had to use some larger pieces as the pockets are all 6*6. Because I wanted a cohesive look across the page, I used mainly cork for the background and layered on top. I really wanted to use the clipboard from the 6*12 element sheet so I fussy cut this out and backed onto cork background. I used foam adhesive behind the bulldog clip to make it stand out and I think it looks quite cute.
