work with) was using Prima Marketing Fairy Rhymes Collection. As
soon as i saw this paper I knew who I wanted to scrap a page of, my cousins
little girl who looks like a little olden days doll with gorgeous curly hair and
big bright eyes.
The paper’s garden theme was perfect for a photo of her playing with a water
fountain. The hard decision was between which paper to use for the main
feature but I decided on ‘Periwinkle’ as the little fairy is busy studying
the flower which reflected the photo where Sophie is learning something new with the fountain.
I bravely ripped the page in half as I wanted it to be as if peeking into a
secret garden and put some of the ‘Papillon’ behind it. I was given some
netting which I thought enhanced the idea of water flowing….perfect!
I added some Prima flowers and cut out a couple of flowers using my Tim Holtz die, I really liked the colours in ‘Secret Garden‘ and ‘Sweet Briar‘. Some pearl flourishes added to the idea of curly hair and flowing water and I loved the resin cherub from The Paper Teapot and how perfect for a page with a fountain!
